BLACKSHIRE: 3D Experience - Album to be released on Jan. 10, 2012
Amazon.com:
Get blessed with the sound of Blackshire. The 3D Experience is full of Soul, Rock and Pop Hits that will have the world's ears. Coming from their hometown of Pine Bluff, Arkansas with a strong gospel backround, the group hit the scene doing shows around town. In 1999, the group worked on the legendary PRINCE CD titled Rave UN2 the Joy Fantastic. In the year 2000, Blackshire was back to work with PRINCE again on his DVD titled UN2 VH1 special. Now with their own CD the world is in for a musical treat.
Has anybody in here some more details on this project?

I thought Blackshire was just one guy, Kip Blackshire. I don't recall any others with him on any Prince projects. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I am afraid this is not KIP BLACKSHIRE, here's what I discovered:
in 2008 this group (JOHNNIE and DUJUAN BLACKSHIRE) already released an album called REAL WORLD / CDUniverse: Coming from their generation of a gospel singing family, the influence of Hip Hop era, and out from under the wing of "PRINCE" ...
on youtube their is a video of "Somethings Got To Give" from their Real World album, it says: Blackshire formerly of Prince's Power Generation ... ?
And on discogs.com I found that one certain Johnny Blackshire was working with Prince on the Rave Un2 The Year 2000 DVD as a vocalist ...
I guess these guys are members of the same Blackshire family, as KIP ... But I am really not sure about that nor do I know how the 3D EXPERIENCE will sound like ...

^ More likely 'Kip' is a nickname then....it has to be the same person...

Possible ... But I checked out Kip's facebook & myspace, not one single word about a new album there, he mention's only a new song 'About You' which should be out soon, but 'About You' is not listed on the '3D Experience' ... This is all very confusing, indeed, seems like we have to wait until the album drops to get some more information ...

I do remember some dudes up on stage in the DVD. Never knew who they were. It might be them. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
