Original 7ven, Sheila E/E family & fDeluxe tour? They are all making cool new albums and trying to work it independently. Touring together would make sense. Or would they just be playing to the same audience and splitting the money 3 ways? I've seen Sheila and fDeluxe by themselves and hope to see o7 soon BUT all 3 together would be a show that couldn't be missed. evn if they just did a small run of la, the bay area, NYC, minneapolis, Detroit, Atlanta & Chicago?

Yes, and when he played recently in MPLS he had Bobby Z on drums and Matt Fink on keys. |

I noticed Andre has been playing gigs around the LA area too, and folks are writing comments on his facebook page about looking forward to some new music. that will be pretty cool to see Andre back again.

Well we don't have to be so negative. Maybe it can be called the Purple Proteges Tour or the Royal Funk Tour. I'd pay to see all those folks in one room.

I'd see that. It would be nice to see them all together. I just saw the OG 7, & saw Sheila over the summer. I missed F Deluxe but will try to see them the next time they're here. I also missed Andre playing, but I'll try to see him playing in the future as well.
Too bad all of these artists weren't a part of the BET tribute for P. I'd much rather it was them than Trey Songz awful version of Purple Rain, Purple Pain.

At least it would be interesting.

That would have been really great, but do you think Prince would have liked that? It would definetly be something he would of had to approve first.

True, but he didn't look too pleased with Trey Songz. He was giving him major shade. I'm still trying to figure out what Janelle was doing up there.
