Let's look forward to the Condensate tour! With the reviews of the album being mixed - to say the least - I am hoping for a great tour in small to medium sized venues with alot of room to feature Jesse (there is not nearly enough of him on the album for me. Where is the solid "Blondie" or "My Drawers" song?). Say what you will about some of the sellout teeny bopper pop crap (Hey Yo is unbelievably horrible), that these old school legends stoped to put over, you cant beat them when the lights down and they step to the mic. (Just lose the 20 year old chicks on backing vocals - ruins the Time signature sound for me). [Edited 10/28/11 6:49am]

Jesse has 3 rock tracks on their - AYDK..., Sick, One Step. Hey Yo is awesome and I think could be an R&B hit today. I like everysong on it. One Step would probabaly be my least favorite but I like it as a change up(it actually reminds me of My Drawers for some reason). I hope they play the new stuff live. If it is like this past Nokia show I will skip it. I want to see the new stuff. Seen the old show too many times. [Edited 10/28/11 6:54am]

I haven't heard too many bad reviews of it so far. It is a pretty solid release so I hope that we do get that tour that they are discussing and maybe some good press. BET is supposed to be doing some all day thing with them in early December.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Sue Ann Carwell (who does the majority of background vocals on the Condensate CD) is not a "20 year old chick"-- her association with Prince and Morris dates back to the 1970s and Jesse Johnson produced her solo album in 1988. I was glad to see her name in the credits, because she was a part of the scene back then.

I was referring to the chicks onstage at Leno as this thread is about the live show. There is nothing you can school me on regarding Sue Ann or anything else regarding the Mpls Sound:-o

What mixed reviews are you talking about? All of the reviews from music critics that have been posted here have ALL been phenomenal!!
