I finallyn picked this one up the other day.
WOW! This thing is jammin. Agree its the best thing to come out of Minneapolis in ages. This along with Fdeluxe, and I am in heaven. Now if Prince would just get his butt in gear and blow us all away with some new stuff I would be even more a happy jammer...maybe this is the kind of competition he needs to realize he ain't done yet.

The middle is where I hit skip. Cadillac, LifeStyle, AYDKMN, & Condensate don't do anything for me but the last 4 tracks are a killer sequence! When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I feel the same about the end. Even the almost too contemporary "Hey Yo" sounds really good within that sequence.

One Step and Toast to the Party Girl are kicking my ASS. Such hot tracks.

Both of those songs are sp spirited! Party Girl is fuckin burning! One Step is so old school pop new wave reminiscent to Onedayimgonnabesomebody to me. Great great songs! "Climb in my fur."

I can't believe how good this album is, it's been nonstoping playing in my house now. I love this sound. It's been a long time since i loved an whole album, there are no weak tracks here.
Anybody know if there are remixes of trendin'?

For me it is the same, this album satisfies in so many ways! It is funky, the songs are good, the production is thick, and it is just immensely entertaining as a whole. Even the weaker tracks are still enjoyable to the point where I don't really need to hit the skip button! RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I agree.
My favorite right now is Lifestyle.
A really strong album.
Non fans can listen to the CD and "get it" without explanations.
I will refrain from making comparisons..
