I know this happened years ago, but I was wondering how Boni Boyer died (Rest in Peace) and how old she was, etc. I was just watching "The Cross/I Wish U Heaven" from the Lovesexy Tour - on youtube - and I just loved her voice and spirit. I tried to look it up but got so many "bonnie boyers".

Obviously I don't know her age, but she seemed way too young and talented to leave this Earth so early.

Was she in the hospital for a while or did she die quickly? The reason I ask is because my ex-girlfriend's dad also died this way but he was in the hospital for about a week. Very tough for him and her family because he slowly began to lose

Way too early for her to pass from this life.

In the early 90's, I went away to college. I had one of the classic Lovesexy posters on my wall... the one with Prince in the front and all the band behind him. Boni was in the poster... my suitemate came in the room and said, "That's my aunt." Boni was her aunt... gasp! I became good friends with my suitemate over the years --- but never really heard any stories. she just shrugged off the questions. To this day - i'm not sure why i never asked more.

Thanks. It was over 20 yrs ago, but the reason he died, in his case, was that he had a brain aneurysm while driving and then hit a telephone pole. The doctors said he might have survived if he wasn't driving. But, of course, every case is different.

Thanks again for all the information and her date of birth(she was only a month younger than Prince). So sad.
