Clearly You need a better bass speaker. that bass line and low keyboard line is funky as hell. The only basic reformulation is the overtop keyboard sound and drumbeats are more contemporary.

I wonder how you find Drummers and Healers, Gaslight, Leeds Line, @8 and Sanctified lacking energy. It's not a driving or clubby as this song, but funky and fun. The lyrical content is a lot better than 90% of what i hear (outside of singer songwriter types). It's more mature than what I'd expect from the Time...maybe cause fDeluxe isn't just "guy" energy in the songs (just compare the song titles). Clearly Susannah brought a different vibe with her writing (and Wendy and Lisa) which I personally appreciate. Just my 2 cents.

the songs you mentioned are the only good songs on the CD. the rest is just boring. #Trendin' is on that will grow on you i played it on my car and it pumps. I wasn't expecting that from fDeluxe but i was expecting more that they gave. like i said the music was good the rest was a snoozefest.

The Original 7ven are just a bunch of big kids having fun playing music together. that is what i expected

So that is half the album. The rest is mid temo and a ballad. Guess you don't do mid tempo?? I liken that part of the cd to a good Sade record with more interesting melody lines.

as good as this song is,the title track funks even harder listen to it on their Facebook page!!
