My advice to everyone interested in getting this CD. DO NOT ORDER IT FROM FDELUXE!!!!! GO GET IT FROM AMAZON OR ITUNES!!!!!

I like to support artist but it seems when you order directly from them it takes much longer than getting it from other sources not to mention it cheaper getting it from somewhere else. i pre-ordered and have not recieved any word on the status of the order. i should have gone to Amazon. learn from my mistake.

I think from day one they have been doing "something special" for the fans. From the live webstreams to posting snippets of songs. This is a total independent release and they are working out all the kinks I think we can be a little patient with them.

They are being autographed. Its great to hear they are swamp with orders. Check Fdeluxe Facebook page for updates. You should receive it very soon. I figure Its been 25 years since there last album, another week wait is fine for me.

maybe they should offer downloads and CD like Wendy and Lisa.

It's really pathethic that all anyone can do is bitch about how they're getting the music from FDeluxe who didn't have to make a CD for y'all ungrateful asses!

Be happy that FDeluxe cared enough about the fan demand for them to get back together and make new music.

If you need the music at this very instant then go to iTunes and buy it for $9.99. That's what I did. I also plan on buying the actual CD when they play in NYC this month.

Support the artists you claim to love or bounce with the negativity!

They addressed the hold up with the pre orders on their Facebook page. What else can they do but explain the situation. Seriously this site is going down the drain. Prince isn't doing anything right now so the venom gets turned toward FDeluxe. I guess the Original 7ven better get ready for some .

I'm a bit miffed, but I'm letting it slide because I know they're doing this on a shoe string, and I'm so hyped for the album. We've waited 25~ years for a second Family album, I can wait a couple more weeks!

My signed copy arrived in the UK yesterday, and Im loving it on first listen!

I think the discussion is more about what they should've done rather than what they could be doing.

Amateur mistake by some professionals. And if you really wanna know the truth: they shoulda followed through on the "preorder" aspect and collected orders pre-release for a selected amount of time. And then, of course, made sure they had their hands on the appropriate amount of stock and signed it PRIOR to release so its ready to ship.

This is not college degree-level insight here. This is common sense.

Also: If they are charging more for the CD than what their share is of it after they sell the stock to Amazon, then that's bogus. I know bands smaller than them that charge under $8 for an album at their show cuz they know that they get about that when they sell it to a vendor.
