Elisa Fiorillo, back up singer for the NPG, is singing on Friday night the 23rd at Steamers Jazz Cafe in Fullerton, CA. Looks like she'll be singing jazz and some of her original music as stated on her facebook page. Why did she stop doing shows with Prince? Was it to concentrate on some solo shit? The last time she performed with them was before Andy was even in the band, I think.

I think she needed to take the summer off for business/personal reasons but she plans to rejoin them when P returns for future shows.

nice video. i never understood why alex khan siad that elisa was a so-so singer and nona gaye was talented, it has always seemed the other way around to me. her material is a bit cheesy but she's a very good singer,imo.
