I'm glad that they came up with a new name,although it's a shame that Prince had to be such a prick about it

When I posted this, I checked only the people on the cover because I first believed it's a fake, then I listened to the snipped and realized it's for real! And with that 30 years of heartache and pain mercifully comes to an end as Prince has finally gotten his revenge on Mama Morris Day, life-giver to THE MASTER OF COOL, for checking in his beloved telecaster back in the day when Prince quit Grand Central to spend long nights in the recording studio talking dirty in Chris Moon's mic.
Seriously, I like OG7. The completist in me has misgivings about not being able to put their new album in alphabetical order alongside the previous in my record collection. But in the picture no matter where they go or what they do, everyone will know they are THE TIME, and the name change will not hamper their success in any significant way.

come on, show the guys some love and wish them nothing but good. I refuse to believe that with the talent they have that they would need to rely on some funk from Prince. Just like the Family are doing we need to see the MPLS greats to step out from the Purple shadow and stand on their own 2 feet. You telling me that Jesse could cover a track in Chicken grease funk guitar! You telling me that Jimmy and Terry couldn't write / produce stone cold clasics You telling me that Morris doesn't have the voice and charisma to front the project You telling me that the rest of the band couldn't deliver a great live show with NEW trax.
Come on, like a fine wine they will be worth the wait.

"All 7" would've been better. Or "Original 7", "Original Seven", "The What", "Lifetime", "The Tempo", "The Watch", etc...
