Yes actually pretty nice, can hear touches of Prince but am sceptical he's involved...the guitar backing doesnt sound like him really.

Nice song...her voice sounds better than on her album (high range). Production and melody line give indeed some Princely impressions. Maybe an outtake from her album, or a new song with a producer who listen very well to Prince's work.

Possibly the fact that "your" is spelled "Ur" is a clue?

"In Ur Bed" turns up no titles at ASCAP or BMI... hmmm

Thoz lyrics ... Wifey and I were listening to this last night (her more then me) and she was trippin' off the lyrics. If music reflects life as we know it, sounds like 'someone' did her wrong. Nuff said ...

Are you suggesting Bria wrote this song, herself? [img:$uid]http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/rebecca8273/emoticon/0002.gif[/img:$uid]

How anyone can call this generic pop song her best is beyond me. The arrangements on Something You Already Know alone kill it. Don't care who it's about either, i don't read OK magazine...i listen to music.

I wonder more about who 'announced' it and why? Where did this all of a sudden pop up from?

Is this about Prince moving on? In any case, I find most of the songs on her album much stronger. But she sounds ok.

Change it one more time..

This is tight.

Weird song choice as I got some message for her FB page of an overview of her career and current events that also state she is Princes girlfriend.

O.K. I like this song, I will admit it. it is one more song that she will never sing live though. If you listen to her songs there are quite a few about being alone and thinking about the guy she wants/ once had etc. Given her experience with Prince she can at least sing this song with feeling.

lol It really does sound like that doesn't it? The video he had made for her was of her driving in a car by herself getting to the sea shore, he ain't even there and she is looking at photos of nothing. When she was on Tavis, he LEFT THE COUCH BEFORE SHE GOT THERE. When he did interviews with Mayte he sat next to her. Even kept women is more about being behind a locked door alone then actually anything happening between the couple.

It was as if all during his relationship with her he was hinting "you are sooooo not the one". Actually those were some pretty big hints.

Prince might be involved, or not... The melody sounds a lot like the songs on Elixer, which might indicate it's a Prince composition, but the instrumentation is unusually conventional 4 a Prince song.
