i think we aall know this story. they are friendly now but i wouldn't look for them to be a band together evragain. just like the time- they do their thing prince does his. he'll always be a superstar that they will never be but all of them have mangaged solid respectable careers after prince. whatelese needs be said?

Because outside of Kelly's Eyes the rest of his tracks are not good. I have his albums and that is my opinion. I think the stuff he did was Jody Whatley was great and I think he is very talented.

That's kind of what I'm afraid of. Andre is exremely talented and all that, but this perfomance seems like the kind of thing that Prince would approve of. I want Andre to come back out again, but if he's going to be another Larry Graham-bot then I'm not that excited about it. I realize though that Larry MIGHT not be involved with this and that if he is, Andre might be better off, but from a music fan perspective it's hard to find something interesting in yet another Sly cover song.

He still looks & sounds the same & he attacks his guitar notes just like Prince. I'm pretty sure him & Prince r back friends now like Prince said on Tavis show..I hit him up on Facebook a few years ago...

The Dance Electric was always the weakest track on the AC album (IMO). Prince should have kept that one for a b-side. I sure hope we get some new material from andre soon,his catalouge still gets heavy rotation on my mp3 player.

I would too, but the fact that he turns up in Minneapolis, playing Larry Graham tracks makes me think I probably wouldn't be too impressed with the answer. He does sound good though.

I would like 2 C his original band make a reunion. When I say original I mean the real original, Bobby "Z" Rivkin,(Glad he has recovered)Dez Dickerson,(Prince best lead guitarist ever) MeLisa Coleman,(Prince best moody chords keyboard player)
