Very natural and beautiful but on stage she just doesnt move me, im sorry.

I love her personality and style but to me it seems as if prince is pushing her to be this funky ass guitar player when funk is not her style

im not trying hate on the woman but funky she is NOT.

she's a alittle boring on stage.

i admire what prince is doing but her style of music does not mesh well with prince

Honestly? No. I've seen it all before.

Andy had her chance to impress me on the French TV show and she blew it. It takes a lot more than clothes and good bone structure to impress me.

Maybe give her a few years and she could develop some stage presence, but I agree with you that she's better suited to doing her own indie thing.

Wishing her all the best in the meantime though. I hope she doesnt lose sight of her own career while she's busy being eye candy for Prince's show.

im not that impressed. she seems typical of his type and the sorta"faux soul/groovy" thing.

i only saw his shows in the us - the carolinas, so i haven't seen the two together on stage but her solo stuff is just blase, imo.

not to say she isn't talented but not really my thing in or out of prince's band.

With close to 9000 facebook friends, she's well on her way to her own fame, and makes Prince look good. Prince ad Andy seem to be popular duo. Lemme see how it goes after August. If things stay in a forwrdly positive moving direction for the two of them, I won't need to edit my humbe funky oopinion again.

I like her voice very much. Her voice is very charming and refreshing. The last thing the world needs is another Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera over the top soul-diva-wanna-be.

Charm is something sorely missing in today's singers

If the Org voted her a wannabe, she'd still be in the band.

Between folks going after Shelby and Andy and Carla and Ida over the years, I'm guessing Prince making the NPG all-male would be the only acceptable remedy for some.

I am not really focus on Andy as a person. I agree she is charming.

but the fact that shes not even a halfway experienced guitar player really irks me.

I dont even play guitar and even i know shes not good.

That has nothing to do with her music and her guitar playing.

Focusing on soely on her looks and not her guitar playing and artistry is disrecpectful.

I've been checking her stuff out, especially some of the live performances on youtube. I think she's great. What's the problem? Yeah she's cute but to say she's not talented i just dont agree. I hope she comes through NY when she's done touring with Prince, I would to see her live.
