Biggest Prince hater

OK not everyone loves Prince:lol: personally or profesionally. So what? He doesnt care and neither do I. I am sure we share a philosophy on such things that says their problem with him is just that: their problem. It seems almost everyone - except Dez Dickerson - has fallen out with Prince at some point. I am still amused by the badmouthing, whining, innuendo, and just plain ol' hating.

Recently we have heard less than flattering coments fom the likes of Jill Jones and Micki Free (hilarious is that one would be hard pressed to name some less relevant associates to the legendary career of Prince - whats next? TC Ellis crying about not getting some royalties?).

Through history, who has been the biggest Prince hater - in his circle and outside his circle. THe outside hater begins and ends with Rick James as far as I am concerned. He hated Prince to the grave and it probably telling some angel in funk heaven how lame 20Ten is right now.

Inside the circle is a little more complicated. THere are so many throughout the years going all the way back to his first "associated artist", Andre Cymone. They patched up things long enough for Prince is make him his only real hit a couple decades ago. Wendy and Lisa havent always spoken well of him in my opinion - especially when they seemed to let homers give them credit for Purple Rain and damn near everything after that in the 80s. Levi sued him if I am not mistaken. Miko almost came to blows with him once (but it is just Miko so who really cared?). I don't know. Let's discuss...lol

I don't think this is a troll post.

My response: Rosie Gaines. Not that she is hating but she has been very upfront with how horribly wrong Prince treated her. Dude's an ass!!!

In fact, didn't Little Richard claim that Prince was Little Richard (implying that he stole everything from him)? I remember a funny bit on MTV (I think during the premeire for Purple Rain) where Eddie Murphy was imitating Little Richard saying that. Tried to find it online, but couldn't. It's hilarious.

I believe it was Clapton who said,,,"you either love him or you hate him, there is no middle ground with this guy"...but I think he was referring more to his music, not him personally

I guess some people just can't maintain lasting relationships. Not that uncommon really, alot of people go through friendships/relationships like they go through socks. Doesn't necessarily say something really bad about that person but maybe about their choices? IDK, every situation is different I guess.

But really, from the beginning I can't believe people didn't realize what they were getting themselves into when it came to Prince....he is who he is! Take it or leave it, I kinda like that he doesn't change himself to fit others standards.

And hopefully this will teach folks to go in a situation with their eyes open and accept people for who they are and not try to change them.

I find it weird that those folks complaining about Prince are so eager to jump back on the bandwagon if he invites them!! Ex-bandmembers and ex-gfs all seem to still be stuck in the Prince mindset! Says alot about them. I can't take anything they say seriously when they continue to ride on his coattails. If someone was so bad towards you, why keep running back? Is he really just that freaking awesome and addictive? Guess so shrug

Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

I always found a certain amount of hypocrisy and a lack of credibility among those who have bad mouthed Prince but never did anything of any notice or substance without him. Or they boost their own biographies by including any and all connections with Prince (like Micki Free does). Or they take credit for (or are given by overzealous fans) some part of Prince's success yet can not show us any before or after their time with Prince.

Bert Von HeimlichManuever is giving Rick James a run for his money! You can just feel the 'hate' in everything he posts about Prince.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Cosign That is why none of the bitching from those people means anything. In addition, the haters on this board who back some of those losers have not one lick of sense to see the lack of credibility.

What exactly did Micki Free say about Prince? I have no idea what he might have said and besides his minute time with Shalamar what exactly has he done that has made any national attention???
