From that it just seemed she wasn't playing these two shows.

Hopefully her Twitter post was just worded more harshly than it was intended.

Never say never with those two, I guess, but I assume at this stage at least she's not just talking about the LA shows. It also looks like it was his choice (not a surprise).

Well, in her recent interview she stated that sometimes at the last minute Prince will tell her to stay home and rest. I don't think there was a falling out and besides she performs with her family.

I agree that there is way too much speculation going around on this site - and in particular, this forum - but in this case, Sheila is clearly wishing to communicate to her fans that she will not be performing with Prince again in the foreseeable future and that this is not by her choice.

Granted, anything beyond that constitutes an assumption (for example, the implication that something has "gone down" - albeit, not an unreasonable assumption to make), but I appreciate that she respectfully lets her fans know the score without any further commentary.

See but that's NOT what she said. Who are you to speak for Sheila? You do Prince no favors by defensively reacting to facts that you are personally uncomfortable with.

How about we stop trying to censor folks we don't agree with and let people express themselves as they see fit as long as they comply with the site rules.

All people need to do is be CIVIL and let the mods decide what's appropriate.

but aren't tweets quick and to the point? A lot gets lost in translation via the interweb and all of it's social networks.... Im not saying there ISN'T something deeper at play here, I just like to look at things critically..
