yeah, cause you'd think phishers get big ticket items

I must get this. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Hmmm, ok well the file was a zip file, so it needed unzipping first, the tracks are inside that. If you dragged the zip file into iTunes, nothing would happen. It's also possible the download crapped out half-way through, sometimes happens.
I suggest redownloading the file and unzipping it.
BTW, you might want to download the lossless files instead, better quality and future-proofed. The files are bigger, but if you download apple lossless (which they have), you can 1-click convert them to smaller files in iTunes, but you still have the better quality files for future use

I'll give it a shot...Thanks!

I ordered the CD last night and listened to the download this morning. Musically it's all over the place. Great stuff. Like someone else said, it ends too soon though.

I thought the same, I was just getting into it and it ended! Great little EP though, can't wait to get the autographed booklet. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come?

They're definitely showing off their versatility here. Wouldn't at all work as an album, so the EP format was a really smart showcase for this disjointed stuff, all of which they pull off really well. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

How refreshing to be able to choose from a number of audio formats for a change.
FLAC, MP3, Apple Lossless, and AAC.
Hats off to W&L for that.
Someone should let Prince in on this not difficult to set up thing.

I'm liking this, the only part (and it is a small part) I don't like is the use of "drum 'n' bass" near the end of Water To The Wave. I'm liking the instrumentals.
Good stuff.

Probably needless to say: I love it.
I love the album.
I love that it's a true EP. I'm very used to the Wendy & Lisa song arc of an album, and I think it takes guts to go with the EP format, which is very different.
I love how eclectic these little tracks are. I love their humor, and their fearless mixing of styles.
I love that these are songs W&L themselves love. and that they let us in on that.
I love that W&L found a way to get out a new album of their pop music, despite their relentless schedules.
I love the new publishing company names!!!!
I just love it. Did I mention that?

I'll second that | |

I kind of dig the audacity of that, but it is pretty odd, isn't it? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Yes quite odd. It just surprised me a little, which in a way is a good thing.

That's the surest way for me to hate it. Even my most favorite album in the entire universe I couldn't listen to more than twice in one day. My attention span for music is too short. I need to hear different albums all the time. I immediately played White Flags Of Winter Chimneys afterward which helped satiate me.

I keep coming back to the impression that these were the tidbits that were too weird for prime time back in ye olden days.
The one that sort of kills me with cognitive dissonance is "Rock Song" which includes members of the FatB/ Eroica band. I am trying to imagine Wendy getting away with that guitar anywhere near FatB. Makes me smile, lots.

I think i will too! Everyone has only good things to say about it I don't have any music from them, looks like this will be my first! Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul

Nice, may I suggest that after you buy this E.P, you track down the albums Wendy & Lisa, Fruit At The Bottom and Eroica. These three albums are (imo) essential W&L platters.

I agree completely with this.

If you like the EP then I would recommend everything. Their other albums, Girl Bros. and White Flags Of Winter Chimneys are just as good to me, although they have a definitely different vibe from their first three albums.
I honestly can't understand how W&L only got two votes on the favorite female artists thread in the Music: Non-Prince forum. I mean, this is a Prince fan site, right?

Dude, it's only $3.99. Open up a lemonade stand or something and you could be bumping the new joint by this evening. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Look like they name their publishing based on their kids name. Calder is Wendy's son name and August is Lisa's daughter name. How cool
But will get the music from their site soon. They never disappointed.
