She discussed working on her S/T album, things left off of it and the French influences. She bit her tongue when talking about Prince, but went apeshit when it came to discussing the nut case fans (assuming this was aimed at past and recent org threads chastising her for daring to speak ill of her former boss).

I wasn't bothered to listen to entire thing, not in the least bit interested. I happened to click forward just on the right part where she was talking about the fans. LMAO She must have gotten so much hate mail, and after acting like this I can see why. So hilarious!!! Its obvious, that she was really bothered by the comments. I think its admirable, how Sheila E., Wendy and Lisa, all the musicians, heck even Appolonia with her casting company, to have gone on and become successful with their own careers.

I know she may be successful in her own right. I'm not into her or her music and I believe from the Org she does have a good following, but the bitterness just seems to overshadow whatever it is she got going on right now.

That's just me. I'm sure others may feel different. I wish the best for her regardless.

The sound quality on this is terrible, but the show host is such a ball it doesn't really matter!

Um ... yeah ... I agree with some of what you said but, most of what you said I can say I disagree with. Jill is a okay singer, from my point of view, very beautiful in her own right like Apples and Vanity but, she's her own person, indeed she is. I know your opinion is your opinion but, unless you like Prince and not the Related Artist like my sister Traci and that's cool. Again, like I said in another post, Jill has not come out and BASHED Prince, unless I'm wrong ...

From my understanding Jill was a x-girlfriend like most protege's in P's past or present and she could carry a tune but, she's no Chaka Khan or Rosie Gaines and I'm not sayin' that to be odious toward Jill but, I would not say she's a Singing Diva but, she's cool for what she does. I too agree with the Princess of Paisley Park term being put on Jill not fitting like a puzzle. If anyone is a Princess or Dutchess I'd say Sheila E. but, that's another can of worms ...

It seems that the org is great for biting the hands that want to feed us information. People like Jill, Robin Power and many others were there and can offer us insights into how the man thinks and behaves. Personally, I love that sort of thing and it is what makes Prince fans so amazing is that we are able to dig up some excellent information, but with these people comes a certain responsibility.

I am not telling anyone how to think, but I caution the org to not rip every associate to shreds regarding their time with Prince. You may not agree with everything they say, you may disagree with their opinions, etc. but if we keep snapping at people who are opening up their book to share with us, fewer and fewer associates are going to start doing that and our information will run dry.

Jill has an amazing voice, a great background and really cool insights into Prince's history. Personally, I enjoy hearing about what it was like to record with him, what helped him with his decisions, how songs were chosen or shelved and what certain lyrics mean. I guess the way I am seeing it is that we have a choice... we can allow those who were actually involved in the process to have an opinion that is different than ours and accept that sometimes we aren't going to agree with the information we get OR we can shout these people into silence and just throw our own opinions back and forth without any new insights being brought to the table by those who were there.

I love the back and forth about the opinions we have, but at the same time, I really enjoy that the org brings us people like Michael B., etc. who want to share with fans.

I know that there are several associates who didn't like the vibe here and stopped coming by. I hope we don't chase all of these people off.

Jill has released 2 solo albums in 24 YEARS. The first [and best] was written and produced by Prince. How she has the nerve to bitch on him I don't know. Jill should have kept her bitter feelings to herself instead of blabbing about it on Facebook. The majority of Jill's fans are Prince fans, so by talking shit about him, she is going to lose fans. Prince enjoys performing, why would anyone want to take that away from him? Jill who??!!

According to wikepedia she's had three albums and three singles since leaving Prince. I don't follow her music so I'm not sure if she's done more work. I never see any postings here about live performances or concerts or tours, but I could be wrong.
