But seriously, this isn't as if this is a former protege asking for help. These two are currently employed by Prince and on his payroll.

He just donated a million to a charity. Why didn't he take 100,000 of that and help out their mother?

Instead, he thinks the more Christianly thing is to have them ask the fans to pay for it? lol.

Again, people making Ass-umptions. Just take it for what it is, the Twinz are asking us as caring peple to help out, if we can. Charitable gifts are an individual choice and I see nothing wrong with it.

I'm just saying who says he hasn't helped them, privately? I mean, if I give a donation I'm not going to tell anyone either. The last time it was reported that Prince made a donation some of the grouches were all like....Prince is announcing he gave a donation....blah, blah, blah......

but on another note, this reminds me of the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry David makes a donation and so does Ted Danson. Ted's donation is annonymous while Larry's is not. Larry gets jealous because it leaks out that Ted gave a donation and everyone thinks Ted is so wonderful because his donation is private, not seeking praise, in contrast to Larry's donation wich is known and therefore people aren't as impressed and treat him like he's made the donation just to get acknowledgement. Great show.

I don't donate unless I or someone close to me knows the person well or there is some sort of accounting. If they get for example $50,000 in donations and they negotiate their bill down to $10000...what happens to the extra? You get it back? I think not. I am overly compassionate but don't like requests like this one in this manner. There is not enough informaiton.

Curb is great.

But we presume he didn't help because he COULD pay for it ALL if he wanted. They have worked for him for over 5 years. Why hasn't simply said, "Tell those hospital cats to chill." is beyond anyone's guess. Maybe he did but the Twinz wanted to seek help elsewhere as to not look like charity cases to Prince.
