Ah, you're right. I had forgotten it was released on The Vault because of the horns and additional instruments. I just tried to listen to it and couldn't make it through. Now I remember skipping it when I first got the album. I've been listening to the demo for years and years, and I guess I've been subconsciously ignoring the official release.
For the record, I've never been able to listed to Joe Cocker's version all the way through either. |

Love thy will be done _YES! Surprisingly some of the ones people mention I think are better by the artists who did them. In some cases I've heard his versions and they were just ok. BUT this one - HE made this song incredible. Also Open Book and Train..same deal. His were perfect and he threw them away. It's a shame. Some of the Time ones he pretty much DID do since his voice is all over it except Morris' lead. |
