When Sade announced a new album last year I publicly wished fora Bjork, Kate Bush and Wendy & Lisa to follow suit. Who knew my dream would come true? Now, now I dream for one song off this EP will remind everyone just how funky these white chicks can get. Something to put on the shelf next to Satisfaction, Are You My Baby and Skeleton Key. On a sidenote. Stalker Alert!!!
I saw Wendy (and her partner Lisa Cholodenko) at the corner of Beverly Drive and Gregory Way in Beverly Hills last friday and (scout's honor) I was blasting "You & I" on my car stereo. I veered towards the corner where they were standing, lowered my car window and waited for Wendy to hear her music. When she turned around I blew her a kiss. She held her hands to her heart and thanked me with a big smile. It was a very sweet surreal moment. My foot on the breaks was shaking a bit, I was nervous as hell. Yay. I love me some Wendy and Lisa.

Yes. I'm glad too as I veered from the left lane to the right and came to a complete stop at ther corner, even though the light was green. Another thing that was strange was that the cars behind me didn't honk. It's like second nature around here to honk when some idiot does something like this. But traffic was light. Who knows, whatever. It's quite ridiculous too that I was able to recognize who they were too, but I love Wendy and Lisa, so maybe my radar was on high alert as I was leaving the office early to go get ready for the Prince show that night.
