You never have to listen to her songs or click on her threads. Co-sign Some people on this board do not care for Robyn's music(which they could kept their opinion to themselves ) but a lot of music today is not that good. I do not see how showcasing her music on the show would be so bad. It is her music it makes her happy so be it.

Honey, I don't follow the ins and outs of all the girls who Prince has recorded let alone their names, but sorry for getting the name wrong. But people should be allowed to express whether they like or dislike a project she's working on; we do it all the time with other artists, and I think her skin is thick enough to take constructive criticism. But it should be done in a way which doesn't attack, and simply speaks of difference in preferences or taste, or asks legitimate questions of why she makes certain choices as an artist. Robin's a very talented painter for example; she probably knows that back in their day Jackson Pollack, Picasso, or Georgia 'Okeefe got strung up by their metaphorical balls for how they chose to paint. I don't think that music is really that different in that regard- in terms of public reaction and criticism . Or at least (in my world ) it shouldn't be.

Interesting that there are people posting on this very thread who have recently said really harsh, bitchy things about Mayte (who, btw, has NOWHERE NEAR directly used the Org as a way to advertise her own endeavors apart from Prince; when she has referenced him it's been posted to her FB and then cut-and-pasted and reposted over here) and have accused her of using her past association with Prince to promote her own career, yet those same people don't have a problem with what Robin does...i.e. using her past association with Prince to promote herself and her projects.

For the record, I don't care that Robin posts here to promote herself. I just find the blatant hypocrisy of certain Org members interesting and a bit nauseating.
