Verbal Penetration Just listened to it for the first time: I'm impressed. This is by far Jesse's most ambitious project ever and it's a wonderful collection
But WHY on earth is it filled with segues repeating that Jesse is great, that he's one of the most prolific composer from MPLS, that he co-wrote "The Bird" and "Jungle Love" and numerous other hits, that his albums went gold or platinum, that he's an exceptional guitarist... etc.?

Because he is insecure about the Prince comparisons and feels he deserves more acclaim for his work (I don't blame him).
The only people who purchased VP were most likely already fans of his so I don't know why he felt the need to remind us.
