uh.... nothing really springs to mind. as great as Maceo is, I don't think he really adds much to Prince's live shows or the few studio tracks he's on. | |

Its slim pickings as far as studio stuff goes. You need to go the live bootleg route really but even then you will have to wade through a lot of stuff to get to Maceo's solos.  if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

Get one solo you like and loop it all over.
Since Maceo always plays the same old boring four phrases, people won't even notice...
(I respect him a lot as he could be deemed 'the inventor of funk sax' but that doesn't prevent me from being bored after 5 minutes of the same thing over and over). | |
