Edit: Eeek, love Fran but this format is kinda awkward for her. "Clap,clap,clap, so you went to the White House?! Yay, hahahaha, and you got raped, n'awwwwww." -- She needs a few seasons of polish... if she lasts that long.

falloff Yeah, I think she only got a week or two worth of shows as a test run. I don't think the show was picked up.

... which goes to show you that most people have complicated inner lives, even those who seem to have everything going for them, including talent, beauty, famous friends, lovers, money, etc. Something to keep in mind before referring to Prince as a "sex-fiend," "horndog," or whatever. That's reductive. I'm sure he's as complicated an individual as anyone else.

Thanks for posting it, but good gawd, Fran is WAY too annoying in this! She looks great and I used to get a kick out of her sitcom, but that voice and constant mememe crap is intolerable. And what was the deal with her being all up on Sheila while she's trying to play?!? Sheila needs her room, back off woman and close that gaping maw! hammer

Is her show still on? I know Fox tried a few summer replacement tryouts. Both her and Craig Killborn (yes, the one that HAD to leave the easy light night gig) had shows on during the summer. Craig's aired in Detroit (and I saw part of one episode) but hers did not.

Sheila looks gorgeous. She looks so beautiful these days, and so elegant.

Fran is a bit annoying here, and how she started to talk about rape sounded rather insensitive, even though she´s been a victim herself.

imo, that still reads prejudiced, sorry

apparently after a certain age you're supposed to look a certain way and when not,

you get the exception-to-the-rule-compliment shrug Sheila looks great period

sheila looks great = compliment point blank.

nice to see someone in their 50s blah blah blah is not an insult to sheila...its pointing out the fact that A LOT of women (the older they get the worse usually and many even blame age) simply do not take care of their bodies.

similar to the difference between "she looks great for having 4 kids" vs. "she looks great! It's nice to see that after 4 kids she still has the time and energy to keep her body looking good...since a lot of women don't and will use kids as an excuse"

which to me, is a second and separate compliment.

all this coming from an over 50 mother of 4 still rockin a size 4. shrug indeed wink

I knew Fran's show wouldn't last. Not everyone can handle a talk show. Love you girl but it wasn't working and you can only take that voice but for so long.

Fran's in her 50's too I believe. She looks fantastic. Sheila always looks amazing. 50 is the new 40 now or what? I've said before i'd be blessed if I can look as good as any of them in my 50's. But they work at it. Very few in their 50's look this good. You have to work at it. Let yourself go and you will look like shit.

hahaha, exactly.

my grandmother is 103yrs old and has no problem hearing that she looks great FOR HER AGE. She knows what ppl really mean and would never take it as a backhand compliment...nor would sheila as she regularly jokes "not bad for 52" in the same way as "not bad for a girl"

Sitcom veterans Fran Drescher, Wayne Knight set to return

Fran Drescher of The Nanny and Wayne Knight of Seinfeld among TV veterans returning in new sitcoms.

TV Land network is announcing that Drescher will be back on the air with Happily Divorced. She will star as a florist who deals with dating after finding out her husband is gay. The network said Monday that Happily Divorced will premiere June 15.

A second new sitcom, The Exes, stars Knight as one of three divorced men who share an apartment across the hall from their divorce attorney, played by Kristen Johnston of 3rd Rock from the Sun. It is slated to debut next winter, along with a second season of Retired at 35.

TV Land said its first original sitcom, Hot in Cleveland, will be back with new episodes in June.
