I love Kirk!!

I think he´s one of the most underrated (and most disliked) drummers in Prince world. And that has a lot to do with being in Prince´s band at a time when the albums were weak and the shows were not too stellar, either ( even though they were still very enjoyable). The weak production on Emancipation added a lot of fuel to the fire. But that doesn´t necessarily make him a bad drummer. Even Michael Bland said that he´s one of the best drummers in the Twin Cities.

I don't think this is an especially impressive video. Sheila and John B and Michael B all rip this cat a new one, in their sleep.

Wow. That video does the guy no favors. That was nothing to come on here and start ish about. It's good to see Kirk is still doing it though and I wish him well.

But nobody´s saying that he´s in the same league as , say, Sheila, Michael or John B. . It´s just that he´s not THAT bad....not as bad as people say he is.

Brother had help by a percussionist during a solo that was boring as hell for the first 2/3 of it. lol. I mean I guess he ain't the worst out there.
