I think Mayte knew Mani wanted Prince but didn't care anymore because her and Prince weren't working out. That's horrible what Prince, did. Even if they broke up because he did it in public and they were still married.

I feel sorry for Mayte...because whatever she accomplishes in her life, it will always be over-shadowed by the fact that she was Prince's first wife. That seems like a huge burden to bear for her, in more ways than any subsequent wife or girl friend of Prince's. Just my two cents.

So it's reported that Prince and Mayte separated in December 1998, and then it was reported the marriage was annulled in Feb 1999. Rave 2000 was taped in December 1999 - a year after the announcement of the separation. It takes a while to get divorced and many people move on before it's finalized.

Whatever was reported, whatever was announced...things were ending/ended during that time and it can't be called cheating if someone is dating someone new a year after separating.

I'm not saying that things didn't overlap, I have no fucking idea...but using the Rave DVD as some kind of proof that he was with Mani while with Mayte doesn't really add up.

Prince was parading around with Mayte in public at that point. They did some photospread in Spain, and he presented him and Mayte as a couple during the time of the taping.

It may have just been for appearances, but it looks bad for Manuela because she literally snuck a private moment with Prince on stage.

It was a moment captured that is the only proof anyone has to say, here see... look he did/was seeing her at the same time he was with Mayte.

No one really has any real proof unless they are caught in the act... but the Rave DVD shows a moment captured that many caqn say there was something there between Manuela and Prince.

I suppose that in the end that is true. Although, I think she could have done something if she had played her cards right. I don't think appearing in "Firehouse dog" looking frumpy sans make up did anything for her, or being on Army Wives. She should have done something in Vegas or something. She should have been a showgirl.
