Actually Ice Cream Castle is a pretty solid album. I like the tittle track, but does not fit the band though. It seems better suited as more of "Prince" Track.

But the remaining tracks have aged great. All are classics. I even love Chili Sauce.

The Bird & Jungle Love are undisputed classics

  1. Ice Cream Castles
  2. My Drawers
  3. Chili Sauce
  4. Jungle Love
  5. If The Kid Can't Make You Come
  6. The Bird

An overlong skit like "Chili Sauce" is a classic? Okay.

"Chili Sauce" as a WHOLE woulda been better in the Movie....the WHOLE thing!!!

PANDEMONIUM was a pretty solid release.....MORE than the 6-song usual we've gotten...

"Jerk Out" and "Chocolate" were the BEST Prince songs

"Donald Trump (Black Version)" "My Summertime Thang" and "Data Bank" the WORST Prince songs

(they coulda been left OFF the album!!)

"Blondie" "Skillet" "Pandemonium" and "It's Your World" were proof WHY they didn't need Prince in the FIRST place!!!!!

Hope the new joint gets released............................

cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

I don't know why,but this album never really became one of my favorites.Maybe it's because the previous album was so damn good lol 'What Time Is It?' is a MASTERPIECE....a funk classic! 'Ice Cream Castles' is Time-lite,by comparison.

The title track is too lightweight for a Time single...."Chili Sauce" is filler...."If The Kid Can't Make You Come" is decent but can't compare to the slow jams on the first two albums...."The Bird" is fun but it's not as cool as "The Walk".

Plus, with Jimmy,Terry and Monte gone, there is a sense that the magic just wasn't there.

Actually,

According to the library of congress, there are several songs on Pandemonium that Prince actually composed, produced and played on..Morris Day stated on Arsenio Hall that just because it says Morris Day or certain names as the writer, that they actually didn't write them..Most of that album is Tionna/Controversy music publishing and that is total Prince controlled music..Now,Prince created the Time and mastermind their progression,of course he should be part of the new project somewhat..Without him, there would be no Time...Everything the Time has done musically was created by Prince....Look at the facts in the Library of Congress...He owns the name and their publishing catalog...He created the work....

Yeah, that's what we've been saying. "Chocolate", "Donald Trump (Black Version)", "Data Bank" and "My Summertime Thang" are Prince solo songs. "Jerk Out" is credited to Prince and The Time since the guys rewrote some lyrics. The other five tracks on Pandemonium are The Time without Prince.
