In recent photos, Wendy is a little wrinckely as if someone has been sitting on her face.

Also, you're comparing a candid shot under harsh lighting to soft-focus promo shots.

Pretty...almost as pretty as Prince. A lot of pretty boys in the 80's..of course with a good helping hand from 'ol girl L'oreal.

I thought Paul was soo beautiful back in the 80s!
Here's my funny St. Paul story: In the 80s my love/lust for Paul was a running joke between me and my then-boyfriend, who was also a HUGE Prince fan and absolutely loved The Family but wasn't a big fan of Paul, and so would respond to my "I love Paul! Paul is so gorgeous!" declarations with a sarcastic or disparaging comment about Paul. In 1986 or '87 (I can't recall for sure which year), being we were fortunate at that time to live not far from Minneapolis, we drove down for the Minnesota Music Awards and as we were standing in line to get into the venue, there was a guy standing directly - I mean like just inches away - in front of me and from the back he looked just like St. Paul, so I turned to my boyfriend and jokingly said something like "Look! It's PAUL!!" and made this moony, droolly face, to which my then-boyfriend responded in his usual way with a sarcastic remark. Seconds later the guy in front of me turned around and, to my shock, IT REALLY WAS PAUL. I just about died. Luckily he was busy talking to other people and didn't hear any of the stupid conversation my ex and I were having about him (before we knew it was him).
To close this post, in 2011 I still think Paul is very good-looking.

Sussanah has aged very well. can c now what Prince saw in her. Prince always seemed 2 b attracted 2 women that were very feminine.... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Both Susannah and Wendy are babes. Also, I've always found the W&L camp the most approachable and down to earth peeps from Prince's world. So, there's that. [Edited 1/31/11 8:18am]

Sidenote: does anyone have the link or clip of Questlove introducing The Family reunion some years ago?

The Family Jamm, held Dec. 13 2003, at L.A.'s Great Western Forum, brought together divas Patti LaBelle and Chaka Khan, as well as The Revolution (Prince's "Purple Rain"-era band) and members of The Time, The Family and other bands who defined the Minneapolis sound in the `80s.
THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS OFF THE MUTHA FUCKIN' CHAIN!!!

I disagree with those who say Wendy has not aged well. I think she looks fantastic.
I'm loving all the W&L and Susannah photos! Thank you for sharing them!

WOW! They should do a spread in one of those fancy fashion/arts mags. It'd be a cool shoot with them. Plus a great story of sisters growing up in the music biz! I bet they have great stories.
I just thought - these were the original "twins" in Princes life- the difference being talent.

I still remember a rumor back in 1985/86 about Wendy & Prince dating it I didn't know about Wendy's sister Susannah at the time.
