The Time, Vanity 6... Are there any remasters? I was wondering if ANYONE had any idea of any remasters out there. The Time are one of my favorite groups and some of my favorite funk stuff that prince has done. Also i really dig the Vanity 6 albums. | |

Well, there's some decent fan-made remasters. But true remasters would have to be done from the source files.
These albums are in desperate need of remastering, though. Prince's catalog, too, although that will surely be done sooner or later. Hopefully the protege stuff doesn't get left by the wayside. |

Prince will get these records' masters back at the same time he gets his own albums' masters from WB, so there won't be any remastering b4 that time. Let's prey that his plans to release remasters include the side-projects as well (i'd be surprised if they wouldn't). Ok then. I thought were. Well they are louder so i just assumed they had been been remastered. I know making something louder isn't remastering but that's all they did is make them louder? | |

Prince remasters will be released never and protege remasters will be released neverer. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Prince should have the masters back from the first "The Time" album ......  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |
