But I saw Sheila E perform this year and she was in great form! I'm still hoping she will be at the Welcome 2 America performances! :crosses fingers:

She gave an interview about her being sexually abused and the trauma it caused her & then eventually creating her foundation. Then at the end she played the Timbales...... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! Oh, damn! I didn't know that about the sexual abuse... I 'm glad she channeled it into a positive cause that hopefully helped her. Sheila was certainly such a nice person when I asked her to sign the drumsticks I bought at a concert this year... I told her after her "work-out" performance that she made me want to go back to the gym again! She looks great and can still perform a helluva show! I had a feeling she'd be at MSG. She showed up at the final night of Musicology at MSG and brought the house down!
I wonder if she will be playing timbales and singing backup throughout? I hope so. |
