Jesse Johnson's Verbal Penetration If you haven't heard this 2 disc set yet, you are missing out on some fantastic music. This is definitely not only Jesse's best album in years, but anybody's best album in years. This is why I love music so much and with this example of fantastic artistry, maybe this will start bringing back the real music back in the record industry. Not the lip-synchers! Not the one beat computer friendly music. You know, the kind when every time you turn on the radio you don't know whether you're listening to Timbaland, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, or Katy Perry because it all sounds the freaking same. ENOUGH ALREADY! DAMN! Jesse gives us a sweet blended mixture of funk, r&b, rock, jazz, and surprisingly poetry. Or should I say artistic feedback. Songs like Sweet Sadie put you in a mellow mood. While songs like Electricity and Slo' Burnin' gets you dancing and revved up. So if you haven't found this underground masterpiece yet then I suggest you start looking. Peace! Peace and be wild!

When i got this a year ago, i hadn't been that excited over a cd in a few years. Jesse definitely put it down on this one and as you mention the lady ga ga's and the Timbalind's ironically i haven't bought or been moved to purchase a new cd since which tells you the state of the industry. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

If you could've been bothered typing 'verbal penetration' in the Search field on the right top of your screen you'd found very few people missed the album.
In fact, when it came out like a year ago there were threads and threads and threads about it.
You're the only one who's late on this, I'm afraid.
