I think it was a case of "I'm getting some young p*ssy, need to impress her to keep it, and she is crazy enough to let me indulge in the idiotic sh*t, and I need to prove myself to her." Sad really, no one needs to do this crap to keep a relationship...it ain't/wasn't worth it.
