Unreleased Vanity 6 song "Vibrator" How many of you are crazy about this unreleased Vanity 6 song from 1983? I think it's brilliant.It's absolutely hilarious and hints that a second V6 album would have probably been superior to the debut.
"Is it my imagination,cuz I know I didn't hear you laugh You'd be surprised what I do when you're through taking your macho bath" That line is a classic!

Yep,there is a version of "Sex Shooter" recorded by Vanity 6.This version is from spring 1983,just before Vanity left.The music is similiar to the Apollonia 6 version,but it sounds funkier for some reason.It's also longer and Vanity adds many more ad libs ("all the nasty people sing!" she keeps demanding).And the ending is completely different than the A6 version.Vanity says "Brenda...I want you to count to eight,as soon as I get undressed,clap your hands okay?".Then she says the same thing to Susan,and then to the whole state of New York...lol...the song concludes with Prince screaming. | |

I love any song that has both Prince and Vanity. Don't forget "Manic Monday" y'all. In "Vibrator" I think Prince is portraying another woman (not a "gay store clerk") just like he does in "If a Girl Answers..." -- that's why he, er she, wants to use the vibrator herself. Also, Vanity's part on "The Walk" is very cool as well. Morris: How did you get all of that into those jeans? Vanity: Well, it wasn't easy!
