Ditto for me. They were the least talented dancers that Prince has ever worked with. I'm not saying this to hurt you, Jason, or to be mean. I'm saying it because it is my honest opinion. I know you will disagree with me, but that's okay. It's no skin off my nose anyway. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes they really were talentless-just two swinging heads all the time Is Jason related to or dating one of the twins? Cuz he sure is taking this stuff way to serious

Picture wise, they were just props...bad props! Prince has had some lovely women, but the last few years have not been his best in that department!
Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

Well jason you deffinately know how to kick the hornets nest, . You do post alot on associate artist but there is nothing wrong with that at all, especially since you have only posted 61 times since July. Now if you had posted in the thousands and all were on A.A that might be strange, but certainly not against org rules. There are people that never get out of Prince m&m and others that now only go into G.D.. Thats fine, its a free website.
As far as people not liking the Twinz simply being jealous, well that is where you kicked the hornets nest. When a female orger is told that her not so possitive opinion of one of Prince's women is just jealousy it is like someone saying that her opinion does not count, that she was not objective. Often times that is simply not true.
As I said before the Twinz were good for Vegas. Has they tied their hair back occasionally maybe I could say for sure if they could dance. There hair distracted me from their dance moves so I honestly can not critique them well as dancers. There were STRAIGHT male orgers who agreed with psychodelicide that their windmill hair distracted them from Prince and that Prince is a gifted performer who does not need back up dancers or crazy stage shows to sell his act. His gifts as a musician are enough. Any Cirque de Sole (however you spell it) antics that some performers use are not needed and actually take away from his great talents.
ps, I am glad that you take an interest in this forum. There are not many that do.

Deadflow3r, you have it all wrong. I was not referring to all the female orgers not liking the Twinz. I was referring to nursev and psychodelicide. Anyway, I respect everyones opinions. We all can just agree to disagree. By the way, I do post in the Prince m&m, but usually all the topics and subjects that I'm interested in were already covered years or months ago. Jason

Rather wanna see misty copeland and linda celeste on the symbolic stage with Prince Nelson PEACE LOVE & PRINCE

With Prince's history, he doesn't settle on 1 thing 2 long anyway. So it really doesn't matter at this point. If it happens, so be it. P is still great regardless. Peace and be wild!

I liked The Twinz. I felt that when the three of them were out in their coordinating outfits, it was like an event. I also loved them onstage. I'll admit that they weren't the best dancers (as in formal training) but neither was Cat. Yet, imo they brought the same energy as Cat who I also loved, as they were all energetic and I remember whipping my hair right along with them. They were fun and perfect accessories to Prince. I didn't see them as a distraction at all. [Edited 11/29/10 19:50pm]

Thank you! I know I'm not the only one who dislikes The Twinz. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

No, I don't think Deadflow3r has it all wrong. I think you had it all wrong when you falsely accused nurse and I as being "gay" or "envious" of The Twinz. You were waaaaay out of line for saying that about us, yet you state in the same post that you respect everyone's opinions. Doesn't quite make sense, but whatever, it's not worth arguing over. Agreeing to disagree is the best route to take. At least we can agree on that. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I like it when Prince has dancers (or a dancer). I did enjoy the twinz, but I don't mind moving on. PaisleyRose was here

Everytime I hear that song "I whip my hair back and forth" I think of the Twinz because that's about all they did!

I think whenever Prince plays his guitar his music requires hair to be flipped. Thats all Mayte ever did too whenever he played his guitar with her.

Twinz were aweful!! ALTHOUGH I would rather have them then Shelby and the other ones in the band now. Prince's bands are pretty bad nowadays

I found them distracting. I spent my money to see Prince perform, not scantily clad women who had marginal dance maneuvers. When I paid any attention to them while they were on stage, all they did was swing hair and shake booty.

omg those shoes again sooo in love with these shoes, beautiful.
The Twinz were just another phase in the Prince experience, he wanted to imitate the Tina and her dancers feeling. Not really pretty but overall nice to look at, the dresses, their body, their dancing. They added some action to his shows, action he couldn't deliver himself anymore. It was cool to see them dance at the O2 but then again, I only look at Prince when there is a concert. The 3 male dancers during Parade were cool too, wow. And if they would come back to him, that would be fine, they added some classy flavour to him, I never understood the hate but then again, I never understand the hate that floats around here. I thought their Aussie accent was cute.
