It's primarily a | Iminor | V7b9 jam :|| , very typical/traditional latin progression.
The song sounds very 3121-album-ish to me. The synths are the same sound as used in "Lolita". Sounds like the same horn section Prince was using around that time too - Ray Monteiro on trumpet etc. Would have been a cool B-side to "Get On The Boat" back in the day. $15? I suppose it's only £8/9, but I'd expect a CD for that price for 5 track EP, not downloads.

The CD was a 5-track, which was priced at $20. I don't know why the download excludes a song.

The jam at the end of Damned If Eye Do, for instance, some riffs on Musicology are quite similar, some on 3121. It's nothing special, a basic latin jam. | |
