She certainly was and I'm sure she's made other mis-steps as well. However, she demonstrates a capacity to learn, grow and emerge inact rather than repeat negative and self destructive cycles.

I was thinking moreso that she doesn't seem the type who is content to be molded into someone's fantasy. She's a lady with her own distincitve style and vision. Very different from a typical protege.

I just can't see her allowing someone like P to dictate what she should sing or how she should sing it, what to wear, etc. as is his M.O. for managing proteges even to this day.
