yeah I remember some articles from that period describing Mayte out with her friends hitting the clubs. I wonder what P was doing at the time ... was he recording, touring?

I thought that is exactly what he did. wasn't there a concert pay per view Jam of the year themed and it was Mayte's birthday and he had some neon sign drop at the end fo the concert that said "happy birthday Mayte"? I thought that was 1996. Isn't she born under the Scorpio zodiac sign? So that was be in November.

Technically she was pg but not really showing at that point since she was about 4 - 6 weeks. I haven't seen anything when she was really pg. Maybe she didn't show much since it was her first and she is small woman anyway.

Oh, how cute ! Prince and Mayte really seemed like a cute couple. So sad that tragedy struck their little family.

Oh well, now I have to find my Emancipation copy to look for the picture.
