I have for a while now been writing things about Angel. I remembered him from 10yrs ago when he wowed a crowd in Philadelphia. It was a concert feat. all the best independent artist of that time. They had comedians, poets, rappers,and singers. Angel was a combo he had so much energy and his dance was on point unlike that embarassing music video on Youtube. Angel often said he was not happy with that because there is a full complete version locked away in the studio where he is on point. Later on I found a new song released by Angel in late 2009 Titled: Under The Influence it had so many views I think it had over 10,000 in very little time. The song featured a sample from Vanity's song. As it turns out Angel did have a deal with Vanity he had permission to use the sample.

Just a few months ago Angel became born again on June 27, 2010. Angel was set to perform tomorrow at the Adobe Cafe in Philadelphia and do a string of shows there after all over PA. Angel also was getting ready to release a new album titled: (Future). It is said The album will have special guest on it one song has been released on Facebook it is Titled (C.U.R.E) if you are friends with him on facebook you can listen to it. I believe a guest artist is singing with him. AJ's brother says the Angel saga is not finished and his music will live on for all time. Angel's cause of death was cardiac arrest

I have to wonder though why he would have to get permission to sample Under The Influence when Vanity did not write or produce the song. She had no rights to the song.
