I read that Denise will be appearing on today's "Praise The Lord" again to promote her book. I'll sum up what she says later today in case some of you can't watch it but were curious.

It looks as though it's on at 5 p.m. Eastern, for 2 hours, on TBN. (There's another PTL on The Church Channel (TCC) right now until 5 p.m. Eastern. I actually see Bo Bice, American Idol constestant on this PTL on TCC right now.

For DirecTV people, TCC is channel 371. TBN is 372.

Denise is just as beautiful as ever. Filled with the spirit of God. She has a wonderful testimony. So happy with her spirituality. God Bless her!...............She looks great with the short hair.

i just watched it.

i'm really happy for Denise. Her passion and joy for God was evident! i have a lot of respect for her and her journey.

No wonder my Facebook Live Feeds were blowin' up that day. I'm not a Christian but, I understand where some of my FB friends were coming from ... I've seen a lil of her new work, so to speak, she's "on it", I'll say that much.

I just watched it on tbn on time waner cable south bay CHANNEL 24 (L.A.) Damn she is hyper, She still looks good and it was a funny interview because the host didn't get a chance to get any words in. She talks so much, SHE MUST DRANK A 40oz of Coffee before that interview.

I'm so happy i checked the org forums this morning to be able catch her on that show today. I had already missed her last night due to the fact that i didn't turn on my computer. But i was searching like a mad man to try and find some recent pictures of her and She still looks amazing i just turned 26 and i'd definitely date her. BTW did anybody notice her dancing to that corny church song being sung by that guy lmao.

I missed her dancing. I'm gonna have to watch it again. Yes she still looks great. I'm a female and I'm not gay. I'm just saying she looks amazing for her age and what's she been through. That's the kind of woman Prince needs......................

ok I watched it. Denise looked good, much better than when we last saw her on "Praise The Lord" back in 2008. I'm sure the cowardly TMZ won't post a pic of her in this clip on their site, cuz they'd rather show someone looking terrible (last year TMZ posted a comparison pic of Vanity back in the day with Denise from that 2008 appearance).

Anyway, for those of you who missed the tv showing, tbn put the entire episode up in its podcasts section. To open the clip all you have to do is right click the "500K" for Thursday August 5th and then left click "open in a new window". -they introduce all the guests at the beginning. Then if you advance the time to 37:28, you can see Denise do a little dance while a singer performs, and Denise's segment starts shortly after that.

Basically, Denise kind of took over the segment The host only had a few chances to speak and he was very patient. He seemed like he knew what to expect and just let her do her thing Denise did bring her book with her, but only in the last few minutes did they really discuss it and thumb through it. I get the impression this book is NOT a tell-all. She implied that when she originally wrote the book years ago it was sort of a tell-all and she was offered $1 million for it, but then "God spoke to her" and told her not to accept the offer and "throw it out and grow up." So she rewrote it.

The majority of the interview was about Denise preaching and praising God. She was VERY animated, happy and couldn't sit still in her seat Most of what she said y'all have already heard before. Here are a few things that some of you may not know:

-towards the end of last year she was in the hospital for 3 months and had 8 surgeries. She was told by the doctors she wouldn't survive the first one and she couldn't eat the whole time (I guess she was on a feeding tube?)

-a lot of people think Denise is half black and half white, but she mentioned she is african american, american indian, hawaiian, polish and jewish.

-I think she implied that as a result of her near-death experience in '94, she originally went deaf and blind but during her recovery only 1 ear and 1 eye recovered fully. I assume she has partial vision/hearing in her other eye and ear.

-apparently there was a history of abuse/neglect in Denise's family. Not only did her father abuse her and her mother left her for a time, but Denise's grandmother also abandoned Denise's mother.

-she didn't talk about Prince. She only mentioned how she was always unhappy when she was Vanity etc...

-she loves Trader Joe's

-this comment cracked me up: she was saying to everyone who's still single: stay single! then she went on to say she has been addiction-free for 18 years and celibate for 13 years.

She looked fantastic, her face looked less bloated then last time. I can't believe that she deesn't want a kidney transplant,. She truly withnesses every where she goes including trader joes! Her shout out to TJ was great, saying something like "take care of your body peopl". She was on fire, The young girl that followed her was also moving. Couln't believe I made it through both , did not plan to.

I woould love to lock prince up with Denise for an hour, he would see some true witnessing! I love her!!!!

If Denise got with Prince for an hour................Prince would fall in love all over again she would change his world. Her spirit is so beautiful. She has an aura that just glows...........Amen!!!

Kinda ironic that both Prince and Denise (aka Vanity) have charted similar paths in their lives. Difference is though Prince wouldn't be caught dead in an evangelist-type TV show. Vanity's been on a lot of them over the years.

If The Kingdom Hall ministries produced such a show, I'm sure that Prince would be on it, but they don't. He carries his message through other media venues.

It would be very interesting since they are both firm believers and I think would truly enjoy seeing eachother again. She just radiates in a way that few do. If there ever was a Jehovah Witness talk show it is doubtful that the women would be on, or saying very little when they were on. There is a fire in Denise that I did not see in any of the Witness women I met during my 18 months studying with them. They didn't have that confidence in their own understanding of the Bible. I saw the same thing when I read the Ebony article about Prince. It said that Larry still teaches him and is careful not to overwhelm him with too much at one time, something like that. Prince began studying with the witnesses over 12 years ago, making him the same age Larry was when they began their studying together. When is he ready to move on ?? I doubt that he has the confidence when speaking, unrehearsed, about the Bible that Denise now has.
