I think Paul said earlier this summer that they were shooting to finish by August 1, and they're only a handful of days over, so I say goal accomplished. I told him they HAVE to release it in 2010. It's 25 years since the first. It's poetic.

glad to hear! I enjoyed the two demos way more than I expected. In fact I just had a dream last night where the final version of Gaslight was on the radio, lol

Paul emailed me a teaser and said, "'Over the Canyon' turned out great!"

This album is really going to show just how farkin' talented these people really are. I think people often underestimate Prince protege acts, and dismiss them as puppets. That might be true for people like Carmen Elektra or Apollonia, or even Vanity, but a lot of these folks are ridiculously talented in their own right. The songwriting and lyrics and arrangements, etc on this album are, if nothing else, a testament to the talent that is The Family.

She didn't just sing. She had a more successful acting career & was considered a sex symbol. Appearing on many talk shows including Johnny Carson many times....She was never a puppet...
