It may seem "ridiculous". But I was asked by genuine sources to clarify the fact that the relationship is professional. There are and have been many red carpet couplings feigned for business purposes.

Yep there sure are folks who couple up for the sake of "business", however, I don't believe this is one of 'em. SO! till I hear and see it directly coming out of Eric's mouth that the relationship is indeed strictly professional, I will continue to believe it is a genuine romantic relationship.

So some PR person came up with the idea of them going together to the BET Awards (where her ex-husband was receiving a lifetime achievement award) to stir up some publicity for the two of them with the speculation that they are dating, and now someone has been asked to come on prince.org, of all places, to dispute this intended speculation.

As if that's not gross and stupid enough, the fact that Mani would even show up at the BET Awards when Prince was there to receive a lifetime achievement awards is pretty fucking disgusting in itself.

I've always been willing to give Mani the benefit of the doubt in their split. I mean, it IS Prince after all, and well, you know....

What's tacky about her showing up? Should divorced people spend the rest of their lives avoiding each other? How do you know that she and Prince aren't still friends, or at least have a good enough relationship to see each other every once in a while? I think he can stomach her having another man in her life...
