Side Show is a feature we've had in the works for a while. Often times, because of time constraints, some of our pre-recorded interviews tend to get snipped a bit. Side Show is here to relieve that. On random Tuesdays, we will be playing near-uncut interviews that we have conducted with artists. When an artist takes the time to be on a radio show, they should be heard, as much as their music.
The first edition of Side Show will be our 2002 interview with Monte Moir, of The Time (What Time Is It?, Pandemonium, The Time). Monte has written and produced music for Janet Jackson ("The Pleasure Principle"), Gladys Knight, Lolly Pop, and more. In the interview, we also highlight many of the tracks from his 2001 debut solo album, This Side of Paradse. Monte was such a delight to talk to, and it deserves to be heard again, especially since Monte has a new album very much in the works. Is a 2010 release eminent? We'll find out soon enough. (Monte, let us know, bro!)
Side Show won't be every Tuesday. The dates aren't set. So how do you know when one is set to air? Bookmark the blog, find us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or simply check our show page on BlogTalkRadio.
