Well, today's the deadline. April is over and once again (surprise, surprise), Denise didn't follow through. She said the book would be out March or April, and it never came out. She's had more than enough excuses and chances and everyone that pre-ordered needs to get their money back. That's not right to stiff people of their money.

Thanks for your two emails today approving the 6 pages of pre-printing wet proofs.
Almost every page of this title has a solid black background, so it is necessary to allow more time for printing and also for the printed sheets to dry thoroughly before binding can start, which will mean a longer production lead time. On this basis, our delivery schedule is as follows:

ETD Hong Kong June 21, 2010
ETA CA 94536 July 19, 2010

I can't believe how much trouble she is having with releasing this book! I think she shouldn't have done all that "fancy" stuff (oversized,glossy,color pages) and just did a simple,well-wriiten autobiography distributed here in the States.If she had done this,the book would have been released YEARS ago. | |

Wow...I just read what appears to be the intro to that book. That was some pretty complex reading. I hope the rest of the book flows more smoothly. I would never pre-order any book unless it was for something like school. There's no telling when that book will arrive, and it does not appear to be her fault. Oh well.
I'll wait and buy the used copy at Amazon. Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that? | |

ANOTHER excuse. I've lost count YEARS ago at how many excuses she's given and how many times the release date has been pushed back. Why should we believe her this time? That so-called email from the printers doesn't mean a thing.
Something else I find laughable is how it costs more to get an autographed copy - after all the delays, anyone who's already ordered should get an autographed copy without having to pay more. That's the LEAST she could do.
