Jesse's VERBAL PENETRATION, Wendy & Lisa WHITE FLAGS

Finally got around to listening to both releases. Mature, solid rock/funk material all the way through. Just sayin'.

Long live the Associates!

I loved Verbal Penetration but I didn't quite like WFOWC except for The Dream demo which I found astounding. I wasn't too fond of the main tracks on the album. Maybe Balloon is my fave.

White Flags is in my Top 5 albums of all time by ANYONE. Every vocal, every note, is exactly what I wanted to hear from them.

I've listened to Verbal Penetration a few time but it hasn't hit me like Bare My Naked Soul or Shockadelica did right off, but it will grow on me.

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.
