Such a cute song "He's So Dull, Still Living With His Mother" Personally, I prefer V6 to A6-I'm just saying More love for He's So Dull?

Besides Nasty Girl and Bite The Beat, He's So Dull got the most spins on the turntable back in the day. I was into that New Wave sound big time.

This was actually the first single from the Vanity 6 album,but I never heard it on the radio in my area.

I always thought it was a token credit for Dez, but according to The Vault, Dez penned the lyrics, played drums, guitar and produced He's So Dull. He also played drums on 3x2=6.

Everything else is Prince on the album except vox and If A Girl Answers (Don’t Hang Up) was a collaboration with Terry Lewis and Bite The Beat with Jesse Johnson.

I still crack a smile everytime I watch the first "Vacation" movie and the "He's So Dull" scene comes on.

Me too! As a matter of fact, that movie was how I was introduced to Vanity 6's music. When Audrey and Vicki were listening to "He's So Dull", I immediately thought "Who sings that song?" because it was so fun and catchy. Then when I saw in the end credits that it was a group called Vanity 6, I went out to Musicland (a record store) and found the album and I was a fan ever since! LOL
