I was watching a local comedy show here in Fort Wayne, Indiana and saw that Mikki White was on. She sang Purple Rain, and talked a little bit about how she met Prince and how he fined people in his band $500 for each time they messed up. She continued to say that she has written a book caled "Purple Rained on Me." I believe this is the title. I actually teach in the same school district she is an assistant principal in! I think I have hung out with her brother too, back in the mid-90's.

Anyway, hope this is news-worthy. I tried to find info on when the book is to be released, but couldn't. It might just be a local thing, but I'll keep the org posted when I hear anything. She also sings with her sisters under the name The Pure Whites, I think. That is all.
