ENOUGH OF THESE GIRLFRIEND VS. WIFE VS. TRICK THREADS. WHO WAS THE WORST PRINCE CHICK? Well....which of these brawds messed Da Pretty Man up bad (broke him) or at least left him musically uninspired (and fans bored)? None of that who was prettier or was a better singer. Mani is in the lead. I don't think his work was spectacular when he was with her, I don't think he was all that happy- just rebounding. Plus I don't think he cared that much when they split. She added no value whatsoever. | |

no love for the love songs?I loathe most of the second disc of Emancipation a LOT. When it comes to love songs, obviously Susannah got the creme de la creme. But I would say Mani got some A-list material as well. Mayte, though...that poor girl got the worst. Friend/Lover/Mother/Sister and Let's Have a Baby are...there are just no words for how bad they are. | |

It seems that she "inspired" him to start releasing covers too. I like his versions of "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "One of Us," but he could have left that sappy remake of "Betcha By Golly Wow" off the album. Tamar is far and away the worst Prince chick - assuming we are talking chicks that he worked with and didnt actually date, bang, or marry.
He was touting her like she was the new Chaka Khan. Even going so far as to take her on tour and back her up like a sideman. Alas, even the hardest of the hardcore - one of which I am proud to say I am - just couldnt get behind her. Lets face it - there are thousands of girls with big voices in black church choirs all across the USA who sing as well and look even better.
