There's only one thing worse than Tony M showing up on a Prince record... And that's him 'rapping live' at a concert. blah blah blah

You ain't kidding. The clips of the Nude, D&P and Act tours I've seen with him rapping like a sloppy machine gun are just enough to make me shove a knife in my ears.

He was listenable on "Gett Off" and that's it!!!!
He destroyed songs in my opinion. "Willing and Able" is a great song until Tony starts talking. (I can't call what he does rapping). My biggest dislike was that he tried to come off as some semi-gangsta or semi-thug. I mean, dude you're rapping, I mean talking for Prince.....

For some reason I actually like Tony live. I guess it's that the guy is usually working so hard, but I actually look for Tony on the video boots and I've begun to get over hating on him all these years.

I think Willing and Able sucks azz with or without Tony. Prince's falsetto against the bombastic Rosie Gaines or whoever is on that track just doesn't sound good to me. And if you dislike Tony for being a studio gangster then I wonder if you dislike every other rapper and all of the entertainment industry too?

I saw D&P and the Act I and Act II shows in person, among other things. He definitely was horrible sounding live. He wasn't rapping or singing, he would yell out the lyrics as if he didn't have a microphone. TRUE BLUE

I saw him at D&P and Act 2 and yeah, he just sort of shouted into the microphone like a concussed boxer with tourettes. blah blah blah

I do not like the "studio ganster", but if you're gonna play one on record,at least try to make it believable by making sure you're settings on stage, pics, and video go along with the role you're playing. Playing "studio gangster" next to Prince skating in a swimsuit "Gansta Glam Video" is just plain awful!!!!!

The Flow and Willing & Able are, to me, his shining moments. if you can call them that.[/quot Exactly! will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

You know, Tony may have some funny stories to tell. I'm sure when he was gripping his glasses and rapping hard and pimp walking, then he sees Prince slide by wearing a ladies' one piece swimsuit he had to be thinking, "WTF!?!" We need a Tony M. Q&A STAT.

Really? Last I heard he was cooking "Bacon" and flipping burgers. In all fairness, the guy DID perform on stage with Prince and was a member of the NPG...but this line was hella funny! Some people tell me I've got great legs...
