Wendy and Lisa Appreciation Thread

What can I say about these two great girls? They took a downfall and turned it into an uprising. Lisa Coleman was born August 17, 1960. She plays the keyboard and piano. She sings and is a song-writer. Her father, Gary Coleman was in the music business as well. Wendy Melvoin was born January 26, 1964. She is also a lead guitarist and she sings and is a song-writer. Wendy's father, Mike Melvoin, is a jazz pianist and was a top session musican/arranger/producer. Wendy's has a very talented family. She is the twin sister of singer and composer Susannah Melvoin, who has a new album coming out with the band named Fdeluxe, which used to be the old R&B group: The Family. But I'm not going to get on that topic right now because I'm going to do a thread later on them. Wendy & Lisa are very influential in Hollywood. But they are not in front of the scene... they are behind the scene. You can hear their music, soundtracks and scores. What I want to ask is what are some of the music, soundtracks and scores that Wendy and Lisa did? If you had to look up to 2 women, these are the 2 women to look up to because they took their downfall and made it an uprising.

Could we possibly need yet another thread like this? This comes up at least 3 times a week. Where is the unbiased and fair editing from the mods when you need it? It does exist, right?

watch out for the Wendy and Lisa police! Oh wait - he already chimed in.
Maybe somebody should lock up all the repeat Prince threads too, but then we'd almost have no forum.

Yeah, thread topics get repetitive, but who cares? The nice thing about an open forum is that threads live and die on their own.

If we get 3 W&L threads per week and they stay on the first page of threads for a while and get a decent amount of replies, then so be it. It means there's a demonstrated interest in W&L threads. Another time, such a thread may get minimal replies and not even be visible on the first page within hours of it being started, meaning, at that time, there was no interest or demand.

It all works itself out.
