That extended version is one of my all-time favorite Jesse Johnson cuts. One of those songs I know Prince and The Revolution would have turned out at that time. Jesse did his thing with that song. I agree, that bassline is funky.

great song, especially the 12 inch version, but I would love to hear that guitar more up front in the mix

back when jesse wasnt afraid 2 funk


He still does just like Prince but it's just evolved now. But I still know what u mean about not bein scared 2 funk. lol Sometimes I wish they hadn't done some of those albums they did yet, so we'd be amazed like it was 1985-1995 all over again smile
