Morris Day and The Time less Jerome It is the saddest thing I have ever seen from Morris Day. Who thought Jerome meant that much to the floor show? I guess I always did but I just didnt think it would feel so incomplete and lame without him. I mean, as much as I love Jam and Lewis, when they are not there, I get along just as well with freeze and Chance Howard. And who could replace Jesse Johnson the way Tori Ruffin has? Morris Day with no Jerome will always make you fell like you are only getting half or 3/4 of the show. The lame clown duo they brought in to replace him almost made me demand my money back for the concert ticket.

Apart from holding up a mirror for Morris to check his appearance in and dance a little, what did Jerome actually do in The Time and The Family?

He added flavor, plain and simple. Made it more than just another talented band (remember when they were all talented if that had a record out?) on the scene. Let's face it, Morris Day gets over with his personality more than his straight up singing.

the music is still off the chain. yes - but if you read the original post, you would see the thread is in reference to the floor show - to which Jerome contributed substantially [Edited 2/24/10 13:50pm]

I have seen them rock the stage.
I dont think Jerome would have changed my opinion on the quality of the show. If it truly bothered you to the point of demanding refunds I will have 2 question your fandom. why would you get caught up on something so small? you know its not the complete lineup, so why would the most pointless member of the group (who wasnt even a part of the original crew) be the key to your enjoyment? the chili sauce still works. the mirror and the high fives still happen.the show is exactly the same, its just a different person. You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

He used to hit a cymbal every now and then. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Never thought I'd see that day, but... I agree with Brofie. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

so who in this thread has actually seen them live without jerome aside from brofie and I?
while I disagree with his opinion and think that my view on this subject is more logical, it would help me accept a conflicting angle knowing that it holds credibility. I guess it depends on personal expectations. I really didnt mind his absence because the music was great and I was captivated by the sight of morris day. I would prefer to see jerome on stage but when im on the floor doing the oak tree I tend to forget about thing that dont apply to my current state of joy, You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!
